  • UNI-T UT233 Digital Power Clamp Meter Details

Versatile, strong and capable of being used absolutely everywhere from domestic environments to industrial applications, the UNI-T UT233 is a great digital clamp meter for use by any practising electrician.

By use of the devices’ jaws (which can fit conductors with diameters of up to 50mm inside) it is possible to measure AC current levels across four ranges: 40A, 100A, 400A and 1000A. In addition to current measurements the UT233 can also measure AC voltage up to 600V, frequency from 20Hz-500Hz, active power from 0.01KW-600KW, apparent power from 0.01KVA to 600KVA, reactive power from 0.01KVARr to 600KVAr, phase angle from 0 to 360° and active energy from 1-9999KWh.

Both autoranging and true-RMS, the UT233 ensures that all testing is carried out with a high degree of accuracy at all times. It also includes a selection of useful advanced features such as 10000 count display, auto shut down, MAX/MIN and data hold functions.

The UT233 is EN 61010-1, EN 61326-1 and EN 61010-2-032 compliant. It is also CAT II 600V and CAT IV 300V safety rated.

  • UNI-T UT303D Infrared Thermometer Details

The highest specification infrared thermometer in UNI-T’s UT303 series.

With the UT303D as part of your kit, you’ll be able to quickly scan surface temperatures without direct contact from a distance to spot ratio of 30:1 (stand around 30 inches away for a 1 inch measurement spot). This makes it ideal for testing hot electrical components, checking pipe temperature, duct temperatures and it’s also suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications.

The UT303D features the largest measurement range of all the models in the UT303 series and can test temperature from -32 to 1250°C (-26 to 2282°F). Using it is simple; just point the built-in laser beam at the point you want to measure, and it’ll display a reading on the screen in under a second. For higher accuracy, the UT303D also includes the ability to adjust emissivity from 0.10 to 1.0, catering for different types of surface.

This infrared thermometer also includes a number of additional features such as switchable Celsius and Fahrenheit measurement modes, display hold for 8 seconds, automatic power off, MAX/MIN/DIFF/AVG modes and a backlight for the screen.

  • UNI-T UT501A Insulation Resistance Tester Details

The UNIT-T UT501A is able to accurately measure insulation resistance across a wide range with several available test voltages also available which can be easily adjusted using a rotary dial on the front of the tester.

The rest of the interface on the UT501A is also extremely simple. It has a large, clearly labelled test initiation button, a data hold function which stores data temporarily and it is possible to toggle the backlight on and off as well. A large and bright LCD screen is also integrated into the unit for easy measurement readings.

This insulation resistance tester is autoranging, giving it the ability to automatically choose the correct range for whatever is under test. The aforementioned test voltages available on this tester are 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V, giving this instrument insulation resistance range starting from 0Ω up to a high point of 5.5GΩ (dependant on test voltage currently being used).

Also included on the UT501A is a low battery indicator, alarm light display and buzzer, high voltage indication, overload indication, auto discharge and an internal resistance testing function.

UNI-T UT531 Insulation Resistance Multimeter Details

UNI-T’s UT531 is a portable, lightweight insulation resistance multimeter that is ideal for carrying out measurements of a wide selection of parameters.

The device is primarily made for the testing of insulation resistance, and it can do this with test voltages of 500V and 1000V with resistance range of 0.5MΩ to 99.9MΩ for 250V test voltage and 100MΩ to 500MΩ for 500V test voltage. It can also be used to carry out standard DC voltage measurements up to 1000V (both AC and DC), AC/DC current up 600mA, standard resistance to 40MΩ, capacitance to 100μF and frequency to 1MHz. Each measurement parameter features several different ranges which are automatically calculated by the meter due to the UT531 being an autoranging digital multimeter.

In order to make sure measurements are as accurate as possible the UT531 is also a true-RMS meter and includes the ability to calculate MAX/MIN measurements for easy testing comparisons. Testing results are relayed on the device’s LCD screen (which has a backlight for use in darkened conditions) and it also includes a selection of additional features such as the ability to carry ouy diode testing, an auto power off when left idle for an extended time period and low battery indication.

The UT531 is CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V safety rated as well as being EN: 61010-1 and EN: 61326-1 compliant.

  • UNI-T UT612 LCR Meter Details

The UNI-T UT612 is an LCR meter that is simple to use, and can measure inductance, capacitance and resistance with a high degree of accuracy across different ranges.

This means measurement precision is maintained at high and low ends of the monitoring spectrum. In order to achieve total ease of use, the LCR meter is auto-ranging, minimizing the need for user configuration.

This LCR meter a good choice if you need to record readings for future reference. It has a quick-touch data hold function that stabilizes fluctuating readings on the screen for a few seconds, giving you the chance to write down measurements when appropriate. What’s more, the LCR meter can be used with circuits in both series and parallel. This makes it compatible with a wide range of electric systems.

The UNI-T UT612 LCR meter also features an LCD, backlit 2.8 inch screen, which has the capability to display two measurements simultaneously.
